Group share(s) Please specify the group share(s) (usually starting with ag_) that you are currently associated to and that you would like to keep using after prolongation (the respective research group heads will be notified about the prolongation). Specify multiple shares as a comma-separated list, e.g. ag_inst_1,ag_inst_2,ag_inst_3.

Application purpose Please indicate the incentive of your Bonna prolongation. Please choose the uppermost entry that fits best to your application, and consider the following distinction: Despite other uses of these abbreviations in informal speech, please consider that WHK (Wissenschafliche Hilfskraft) are not student assistant contracts and formally require a Master`s, Diploma, Magister (or equivalent) degree, while WHF or WHB are student assistant contracts which require an immatriculation and a Bachelor`s degree. Finally, SHK (Studentische Hilfskraft) contracts apply to immatriculated students which have not yet obtained a Bachelor`s degree. In doubt, please consult e.g. the internal circular 58/2022 of the University of Bonn and its annex for a more formal description of the different contract types.

Brief description of your project (and closest advisor) Please give a brief but concise description of your planned computations, respectively, an estimate which resources you require. If you apply for a Bachelor`s or Master`s thesis or as a student assistant, please also kindly mention the name of your closest advisor related to your project and the involved computations (e.g., member of the specified research group) here.

Proprietary software If you plan to employ proprietary software, please mention it hereafter. Specify a name and version per row. If space is insufficient, please use ; to separate your entries. Please ensure a priori that you will be in charge of corresponding licenses (if necessary). You may also want to consult this page for information on HPC-related software offered by the university.

Consent HRZ regulations I accept the general regulations of the Hochschulrechenzentrum of the University of Bonn.

Consent HPC regulations I accept the interim regulations for use of high performance clusters of the University of Bonn. In particular, I express my awareness regarding my self-responsibility in terms of data.

Consent BAFA Export Control I declare my awareness about the fact that research results which have been obtained by or with the employment of HPC systems may be subject to the European regulations for export control (in German: Exportkontrollvorschriften). I herewidth declare that I have read the EU directive 2021/821 of the European Parliament and the European Council issued at 20th May 2021 including its annexes and later changes (see BAFA Export Control and the references provided under "Regulations"). I assure that I checked the embargo listings provided via this reference (German) respectively via the the EU Sanctions Map. I further declare that I will not violate the current regulations for export control by using the HPC resources of the University of Bonn. In particular, I assure that I will not violate export control regulations when distributing or publishing results that could be used for the purposes described in Article 4, paragraph 1, letter a), I assure that I am not citizen of a country for which a weapon embargo has been issued, or that the results of my research projects are connected to military purposes as specified in Article 4, paragraph 1, letter b), and I assure that the results do not violate embargo regulations.
